For a family friendly holiday in France - Not just perfect for children, but great for adults too. We hope that some of these little extras we offer will add to the quality of your stay with us:
Perhaps you want to take a break from cooking? We provide a wide selection of home-cooked meals, all made by Nicki using only the finest fresh local ingredients. Available any night, delivered direct to your door, ready to pop into the oven. Very popular and ideal for your night of arrival. See menu below.
Why not have a night or two away from the kids? We only use local English speaking babysitters that we know and trust for our babysitting service. We would be happy to recommend one of the many excellent local restaurants for a night out - From intimate and romantic to lively, classic French to New Word fusion!
From a daily clean, mid-week sort out, to a end of stay blitz (we ask that you leave our cottages clean and tidy). Let us take the strain.
The local bread lady stops right outside the chateau gates each morning (except Sunday and Wednesday) to deliver freshly baked croissants, pain-au-chocolat, baguettes etc - mmmh!
Our masseuse, can offer 30 min or 1 hour treatments - Full body, head & shoulders (suitable for expectant mums), or an upper body massage.
Nearby at our friends, the Hostellerie-du-Perigord we can arrange a vast array of spa pampering treatments.
We host a wine-tasting on a Monday evening* on the bergerie terrace (pictured above) with our local wine merchant, Noel. Giving you a chance to try many of the wines of the region and throughout France. It's an ideal way to meet your fellow guests and get to know everyone here.
Hugely popular are our Pizza Napoletana evenings. Held weekly* on the communal bergerie terrace. The format of the evening is an adults communal meal where we serve successive pizzas giving everyone a chance to try our top 9 pizzas. It's a very relaxed and social affaire, giving all of our guests a chance to enjoy some quality "adult" time and lots of delicious food - We stop making pizza when you're all stuffed! Nothing tastes like Pizza Napoletana made with simple fresh local ingredients, hot out of a wood-fired pizza oven!
*Wine tasting and pizza night are available from mid June to end of August, subject to demand
